Abstract
This workshop invites participants to explore and challenge the current concept of screening in obstetrics. A wide-ranging program has been curated to examine the nuances of screening, from non-invasive prenatal screening to systematic screening for fetal venous anomalies.
This immersive session will also focus on the transformative role of ultrasound in diagnosing and managing complex gynaecological conditions, exploring techniques ranging from 3D imaging in gynaecology to transvaginal biopsies and intraoperative ultrasound in fibroid ablation.
Learning objectives
Participants will:
- Be cognisant of the latest updates on various aspects of screening in pregnancy, from controversies to best practices.
- Advance their knowledge in evaluating the fetal venous system and discover practical tips in fetal echocardiography.
- Understand the role of ultrasound in diagnosis of common and emergent gynaecological conditions which may require subsequent surgical intervention.
- Evaluate current recommendations on biopsy of suspected gynaecological lesions.
Who should attend?
Obstetricians, Gynaecologists, Radiologists, Sonographers and Trainees seeking to enhance their knowledge of obstetric ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedural skills and stay abreast of global best practices.
Gain confidence in managing complex cases and network with peers and leaders in the field. An in-depth session is expected with some of Asia & Oceania’s leaders in the field.
