Ratnasari Dwi Cahyanti serves as Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang, Indonesia. Her work focuses on strengthening maternal health systems, with expertise in Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPD-SR), quality improvement, and Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (EmONC). She provides technical guidance to provincial and district MPD-SR teams in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and contributes to national MPD-SR guidelines, annual reporting, and key program milestones.
She actively promotes mentorship as a practical approach to improving quality of care and health system performance in Indonesia. Through sustained mentorship of healthcare providers and managers, she supports evidence-based practice, learning from maternal and perinatal deaths, and sustainable system change to reduce preventable maternal and perinatal mortality nationwide.
