Dr. Laxmi Shrikhande, MBBS, MD (OBG), FRCOG (Hon. Causa), FICOG, FICMU, FICMCH, FIMS, is a senior obstetrician-gynecologist and Medical Director of Shrikhande Hospital & Research Centre, Nagpur, India. She currently serves as the FOGSI Representative to AOFOG (2026–27) and is a FIGO Committee Member for Climate Change and Toxic Environmental Exposures (2025–27). A former Chairperson of the Indian College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (2022–23) and National Corresponding Editor of JOGI, she has delivered over 550 lectures and 32 orations, with more than 90 publications. She has led large-scale adolescent health initiatives reaching over two lakh students and has received several national recognitions for her contributions to women’s health and professional education.
