Dr. dr. Arietta Pusponegoro is an obstetrician-gynecologist and Social Obstetrics subspecialist whose work focuses on reproductive equity, contraceptive access and maternal–perinatal system strengthening in Indonesia. She has led national initiatives in contraceptive counseling, MPDSR implementation and provider capacity-building across rural and archipelagic regions, including Eastern Indonesia. Her expertise integrates clinical care, public health frameworks and policy development, with emphasis on rights-based reproductive services, culturally sensitive communication and evidence-informed program design. She contributes to guideline formulation and national training programs that support Indonesia’s efforts to improve contraceptive coverage and reduce preventable maternal morbidity.
