Dr Ka-Kiu (KK) Cheung is a General Practitioner with over 20 years experience across metropolitan and rural settings. She works as a Senior Medical Officer (GP with Special Interest in Obstetrics) at Gold Coast University Hospital and is an experienced GP supervisor.
Dr Cheung currently serves as Chair of Gold Coast Primary Health Network and Chair of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Specific Interest Group for Antenatal and Postnatal Care. She is also a member of the RACGP Queensland Faculty and an Associate Procedural Representative for Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
In addition, she holds an appointment as Adjunct Associate Professor with the Medical Program at Bond University.
Dr Cheung has a strong interest in improving patient journeys through an integrated one-system approach with experience spanning service redesign and system integration across primary and tertiary care.
