Professor Zoe Bradfield is a midwife, NHMRC Investigator Fellow, and Professor of Midwifery with joint appointments at Curtin University and the Women and Newborn Health Service in Western Australia. She leads the WITH Lab, where she champions consumer co-leadership in research, including appointing Australia’s first Maternity Consumer Fellow. Professor Bradfield’s research focuses on improving the quality, safety, equity, and value of maternity care through health system innovation and meaningful measurement. She leads national programs of work examining what matters most to women and families, ensuring that women’s voices inform policy, practice, and service design. Her work is driven by a commitment to respectful maternity care and creating maternity systems that deliver better outcomes for women, families, communities, and society.
