Filomena S. San Juan, MD, PhD is a Professor at the University of the Philippines, College of Medicine. She was Past president of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists of the Phil;Phil Society of Ultrasound in ObGyn;Phil Society for the Study of Trophoblastic Disease and Phil Society of Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy.
She is the present President of the Asia- Oceania (research organization) on Genital Infections and Neoplasia-Philippines. She is presently Vice President of the Phil Society of Ob Gyn Ablation as well as present Vice President of the International Society of Ob Gyn Ablation

She was Past Editor in Chief of the Phil Journal of Ob Gyn. Past PRO and Board of Trustee of the Phil Ob Gyn Society.
She was AOFOG’s Young Gynecologist Awardee,2021. Young Scientist Awardee by International Federation of Ob- Gyn (FIGO) in 2021.
She was Phil ObGyn Society’s Dr.Ramon Lopez awardee for Community Service and Dr. Acosta Sison awardee for Research.
She was one of the first 100 Women in Health in the 20th Century (1900-1999) awarded by the Philippine National Institute of Health. She was Awarded The Most Outstanding Alumni by the University of the Philippines College of Medicine in 2023.
She served as Congresswoman in the Phil House of Representatives 2001-2004 and awarded Most outstanding Congresswoman 2004.
She was past Chair of the Dept of Ob Gyn at Manila Doctors Hospital and Medical Center Manila. She is still an active Consultant in Manila Doctors Hospital and St. Lukes Medical Center Global City. She is the present Chief of the ObGyn Ultrasound unit of Manila Doctors Hospital.
