Dr Ira Dominique Malonzo

Dr. Ira Dominique T. Alatraca-Malonzo is a Urogynecologist specializing in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of the Philippines Manila–Philippine General Hospital, the country’s national university hospital and tertiary referral center and home to the Philippines’ only fellowship training program in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. She serves as Training Officer of the Division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, where she helps oversee fellowship education, curriculum development, research, and surgical training. She is also a Medical Specialist II at Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital, the Philippines’ national maternity hospital. A Fellow and former Board Secretary of the Philippine Society for Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (PSURPS), she has also served in various leadership roles and committee appointments within the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (POGS), has authored peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and speaks at local and international scientific meetings.
