Pompy Sridhar is the India Director of MSD for Mothers, here she leads the organization’s strategic vision and impact in advancing maternal health.
With over two decades of experience, she has built a distinguished career spanning the public, private, and development sectors—including a decade in leadership roles at the ICICI Group. She has worked closely with multilateral institutions such as the World Bank, International Labour Organization (ILO), and Asian Development Bank (ADB), and has served in advisory capacities with key government bodies, including the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and the Planning Commission.
Her cross-sector experience has shaped her systems-focused approach to improving health outcomes and advancing inclusive development. Her ability to build unlikely coalitions, spanning grassroots entrepreneurs to global institutions and align them around shared purpose and measurable impact is both rare and inspiring.
She has consistently represented Indian perspectives and private-sector innovation on national & global platforms such as the United Nations General Assembly, World Health Assembly, WHO, AVPN, FIGO, Women Deliver, National Patient Safety Conference, and Brookings India. She is also actively enabling the cross-border replication of proven maternal health models in countries with comparable socio-economic realities, demonstrating a clear commitment to South-South collaboration and global equity. These efforts have been recognized across national and global platforms including AVPN, FICCI, NABARD, and NATHEALTH for their transformative impact.
