A/Prof Dr Roshan Zeirideen Zaid is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of clinical experience across the UK, Australia and Asia. She currently serves as Director of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Sandringham Hospital (Bayside Health), where she is leading the transition of Women’s and Newborn Services to Bayside Health.
She holds an appointment as Affiliate Associate Professor at Deakin University’s School of Medicine and serves as a member of the RANZCOG Council. Dr Zaid is deeply passionate about women’s healthcare, with a special interest in reproductive medicine and menopause. She takes a holistic, women-centred approach to obstetrics and gynaecology as a whole, caring for women across every stage of the life cycle. Above all, she believes in truly listening to her patients, ensuring they feel heard, seen, and understood.
At AOFOG 2026, A/Prof Zaid presents on rural workforce sustainability and on gaps in persistent pelvic pain care, drawing on her cross-continental clinical experience.
