Dr. Kamana Subba is an NHS Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Unit Lead at University Hospitals Birmingham. Having completed her training in the West Midlands, including a clinical fellowship in Gynae Oncology, she brings robust expertise in surgical care and women’s health.
A dedicated researcher and educator, Dr. Subba has authored 22 publications and a book chapter on robotic surgery. As a former Digital Teaching Fellow, she successfully implemented a regional virtual learning (PGVLE) platform during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Subba is passionate about global health, having led a UK charity initiative that raised £28,000 to establish an ambulance service in Taplejung, Nepal. She also serves on the Gynaecological Oncology Further PPIE Steering Committee and actively promotes women’s health awareness. Outside medicine, she enjoys yoga, mindfulness, and advocacy work, recently completing a half-marathon to raise awareness of pelvic floor trauma.
