Currently, Professor in the Dept of Obs & Gyn., at a National Medical Council Recognised Medical School, I also am into private practice in Siliguri (my hometown).
I have been appointed as a member of the SPC of FIGO Congress, 2023 & 2025 and an Associate Editor of IJGO. I am Past-President of WATOG. At FOGSI level, I was the Chairperson of Public Awareness Committee. I was the Managing Committee Member of ISAR for 4 years.
I have received honours like a Gold Medal at University Examination. I managed several professional awards like AOFOG-Shan S. Ratnam YGA in 2019; Corion Award at AICOG in 2017; FOGSI-Future Award in 2017; FOGSI-Shanti Yadav Award in 2020; FOGSI-IAEC-Sun Travelling Fellowship in 2020; FOGSI-Nimish R Shelat Research Award in 2020.
I have published more than 70 articles in various journals. I have been an invited faculty in various conferences including FIGO, EBCOG, AOFOG and delivered the prestigious Kamini Rao Yuva Oration at AICOG 2020.
