With over three decades of experience, this distinguished Obstetrician and Gynecologist has dedicated her career to driving global advancements in maternal and newborn care. She currently serves as President of the South Asian Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (SAFOG) and Senior Advisor for Intelehealth, championing digital innovation and regional health equity.
Previously, she was Principal Technical Advisor for Jhpiego an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University. A trusted collaborator with governments and NGOs, she also provides vital technical assistance across the Asia-Pacific region as a UNFPA APRO consultant. Her global governance footprint includes key advisory roles with the WHO MPDSR Technical Working Group, the Global Surgery Foundation, and the Global PPH Steering Committee.
A prolific researcher and former Chief Editor of the Journal of Nepal Medical Association, her contributions to reproductive health have been recognized with prestigious awards from two Presidents of Nepal.
