Professor Tuangsit Wataganara (Thailand)

Dr. Wataganara is Professor and Chief of Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand, and Chair of Siriraj Fetal Therapy Center (SiFTC). He is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. His special research interest includes prenatal screening, diagnosis, and therapy with more than 100 publications in peer review journals. He has received an Outstanding Young Investigator Award from CNAPS III Meeting (USA, 2003), and Shan S. Ratnam Young Gynecologist Award from 20th AOCOG Meeting (Japan 2007). His current major honorary titles include the Secretary-General and Chair of Research Sub-Committee, Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RTCOG) (2024-present), coopted councilor Asian Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (AFSUMB) (2020-2023), past president, Medical Ultrasonic Society of Thailand (MUST) (2020-2023), honorary member of the Thai Hypertension Society (2014-present) and editorial board member (fetal medicine) for BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth (2020-present) and Journal of Perinatal Medicine (2024-present).
