Dr. Suthit Khunpradit is an obstetrician and gynecologist with more than 30 years of experience in maternal and child health. He currently serves as a faculty member at the Faculty of Medicine, Nation University, Thailand, and as Chair of the Regional Subcommittee of the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RTCOG).
Throughout his career, Dr. Suthit has played key leadership roles in maternal and child health programs in Northern Thailand, including serving as Chair of the Maternal and Child Health Committee, Health Region 1. He is widely recognized for his contributions to reducing maternal mortality through innovative strategies such as the 4P Strategy for Safe Pregnancy and Safe Birth and the One Province One Labor Room model. His work has been extended to international collaboration projects in Thailand, Lao PDR, and Vietnam. In 2022, he received the Princess Health Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to public health.
