Assoc Professor Marilyn Clarke

A/Prof Marilyn Clarke is a proud Worimi woman and Australia’s first identified Aboriginal obstetrician & gynaecologist. She is based on the north coast of NSW and has over 20 years of clinical experience. Her research interests include smoking cessation care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander pregnant women, and culturally safe models of antenatal care for First Nations women. She is immediate past chair of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) First Nations Women’s Health Committee.
