Dr Bec Jenkinson

Dr Bec Jenkinson a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Queensland and a nationally recognised expert in respectful maternity care. Her unique perspective as a maternity consumer-turned-researcher has shaped her career, including co-leading the development of Queensland Health’s Guideline: Partnering with the woman who declines recommended maternity care. Now a mid-career researcher with a research program focused driving innovative consumer and community involvement, Dr Jenkinson has authored more than 50 publications.
