Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor Jenny Proimos is an experienced paediatrician and adolescent health physician with deep clinical, research, policy and advocacy expertise. She has led the development of multiple national and state-based government policies, including the national strategy for child and adolescent health (2015) for the Australian Health Ministers Advisory Council. She is a past President of the Paediatrics and Child Health Division of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. She recently completed doctoral studies examining the role of medical colleges in promoting gender equity in training and advancing women in leadership in healthcare. She is now the Lead for Medical Leadership and Policy at the Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, where she enjoys leading an executive education program for women health professionals, focused on leadership through a gendered lens.
