Dr Brett Marshall

Brett Marshall completed subspecialty training in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery with the esteemed gynae endoscopic pioneer Prof Chris Sutton, UK, in 1989. In 1990 Brett was one of the first gynaecologists in Australia performing endometrial resection and advanced hysteroscopic/laparoscopic surgery and has extensive experience in obsgyn over 35+ years in practice. He is recognised as a subspecialist in advanced hysteroscopic surgery treating HMB, fibroids and other uterine disorders, and enjoys teaching and leading workshops at the Royal Womens Hospital, Melbourne. He has also presented at RANZCOG (30 year audit of endometrial ablation) and AGES (Hysteroscopic Surgery), and has been an advisor to Safercare Victoria on the “HMB Clinical Care Standard”. Brett is also passionate about sustainability and reducing hospital waste and disposables/plastics pollution.
