Dr Leila Usher (Australia)

Dr. Leila Usher is a proud Wonnarua woman, and respected Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 15 years of experience in women’s health throughout Hunter New England Local Health District. (From Awabakal to Bunjalung country and inland) She is known for her compassionate, trauma informed and holistic approach to health care. A staunch advocate for reproductive rights and First Nations health care, she is also a facilitator for AIDAs cultural safety training, and the clinical lead of Awabakal AMS Women’s and babies clinic.
