Dr Judith Gardiner

RANZCOG

Dr. Judith Gardiner is a recently retired Australian GP Obstetrician. She trained in Melbourne and has worked in this capacity in Liverpool in the UK, rural Victoria, regional Queensland and NSW and in remote East Arnhemland in the Northern Territory. She worked solely in the field of women’s health and obstetrics for the 20 years prior to her retirement at the end of 2025..
She was the first diplomate invited onto the RANZCOG Board in 2019 and held that position for 5 years. This role enabled her to advocate for GP/Obstetricians and rural and remote women in Australia both within the college and within Government.
She is a current director of the APTP RANZCOG oral examination and serves on various RANZCOG committees and workshops in a voluntary capacity.
She currently teaches UNSW medical students in women’s health particularly through a primary care lens.
