Dr Suranjeen Prasad

Dr. Suranjeen Prasad Pallipamula serves as the Senior Director of Strategy, Growth, and Partnerships at Jhpiego India, an international development organisation dedicated to addressing public health challenges, particularly those impacting women and children. He has been instrumental in establishing Jhpiego’s portfolios in nutrition, women’s cancer, tuberculosis, and immunisation within India.
His interests also encompass Quality of Care. He facilitated a partnership with FOGSI to develop a financially sustainable quality improvement model, which was prototyped, tested, and implemented in over 3,000 private hospitals across India. He advocates for an entrepreneur-led approach to quality enhancement and has facilitated collaboration between Manyata and the Maharashtra government. His insights are documented in three peer-reviewed publications on private sector quality assurance. Furthermore, he is collaborating with AOFOG to integrate Quality of Care into health systems throughout Asia.
