Assoc Professor Wichai Termrungruanglert

Dr. Wichai Termrungruanglert is the Chairman of the Gynecologic Oncology Committee and Vice President of the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RTCOG). He is the Past President of the Thai Gynecologic Cancer Society (TGCS) and former Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Chulalongkorn University, where he earned his medical degree and completed residency training. He pursued gynecologic oncology training at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, USA.
His extensive research encompasses cervical and ovarian cancer screening, alongside health economics concerning HPV screening and vaccination. Dr. Termrungruanglert has published 80 articles, authored 31 book chapters, and serves on multiple medical journal editorial boards. Furthermore, he holds key leadership roles on the executive boards of AOGIN and the Asia Pacific HPV Coalition, and has contributed significantly to the organizing committees for major international conferences, including ASGO 2021, AOGIN 2022, and the IPVS 2025 conference in Bangkok.
