Dr Michael Wynn-Williams

AGES

Dr Michael Wynn-Williams works in public and private practice as an endometriosis and pelvic pain specialist and Minimally Invasive Gynaecology Surgeon based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Michael leads the Minimally Invasive Gynaecology Service (MIGS) at Te Toka Tumai, Auckland, Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and is the training director for the Auckland AGES Advanced Training Program (AATP) Fellowship. He works as a practitioner in the public multidisciplinary Women’s Health Pain Service (WHPS) at Auckland Hospital.

Michael is the current President of the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES, and the first New Zealander to hold this position. For the last 10 years, Michael has chaired the AGES Laparoscopic Anatomy Pelvic Dissection (LapD) education program, which is run at Queensland University of Technology, Australia.

Locally, he is chair of the clinical advisory committee and an Endometriosis New Zealand board member.
