Professor Kirsten Black

Professor Kirsten Black is an academic gynaecologist and Professor of Sexual and Reproductive Health at the University of Sydney. She holds a Master of Medicine in Women’s Health from the University of Melbourne and a PhD from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London. Professor Black combines clinical work, research and teaching. In 2025 she was awarded the Presidents Medal from RANZCOG for her significant contribution to the field of sexual and reproductive health.
