Dr Aggie Kujawa

Gove District Hospital

Aggie Kujawa is a Rural Generalist and GP-Obstetrician with a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She currently works in Nhulunbuy, East Arnhem Land, home to Gove District Hospital- one of Australia’s most remote hospitals providing birthing services.

She is passionate about improving equitable access to maternity care for women in rural and remote Australia, with a particular interest in supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women through culturally safe models of care. She is a strong advocate for rural birthing, and has also welcomed her own two children at Gove District Hospital.
