Professor Zoe Hyun Joo Lee (South Korea)

Dr. Zoe Hyun Joo is a reproductive endocrinologist and one of the young, leading experts in endometriosis and psychosomatic medicine in South Korea. Currently serving as the Scientific Committee member for the Korean Society of Endometriosis (KSE) and Korean Society of Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynecology (KSPOG), she strives to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and psychological well-being in medical training. She was the lead author of the 2024 KSE clinical practice guidelines for endometriosis and previously served as the society’s Deputy Secretary-General. Her research focuses on the molecular biomarkers and inflammatory microenvironment regarding endometriosis-related infertility. A unique academic background in Psychology informs her emerging global leadership as the clinician member of the ASPIRE Psychology & Counseling Special Interest Group. She is dedicated to establishing evidence-based frameworks that integrate patient-centered fertility care with the psychological safety of OB/GYN trainees across the Asia-Pacific region.
