Kuo-Hu Chen got the degree of M.D. from the School of Medicine, National Yang-Ming University, Taiwan, and the degree of Ph.D. from the College of Public Health, National Taiwan University, Taiwan. He is currently the Director, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Taipei Tzu-Chi General Hospital, Taiwan, and Professor in School of Medicine, Tzu-Chi University, Taiwan. He is currently the President of Taiwan Association for Minimally Invasive Gynecology (TAMIG), Director of Taiwan Association of Gynecology, and Director of Taiwan Endometriosis Society. He is also a peer-reviewer for more than 200 SCI journals. His major research interests focus on minimally invasive gynecology, urogynecology and pelvic relaxation, and gynecologic oncology. He has published more than 100 SCI papers (such as BMJ Quality and Safety; Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology; Placenta; IJMS; Menopause). Dr. Chen’s achievements have been recognized by many prestigious awards, including the Award in Excellent Teaching, Taipei Tzu-Chi General Hospital (2017, 2021-2025), Best Teacher, Taipei Medical University (2022), Excellent Research of Taiwan Society of Perinatology (2011, 2013, 2015-2018, 2020-2025), Excellent Research of Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy (APAGE) (2016), the Award of Best Physician in Research, Buddhist Taipei Tzu-Chi General Hospital (2017, 2021), Excellent Research of Taiwan Association for Minimally Invasive Gynecology (TAMIG)(2018, 2022) and many other awards. He has been selected as the World’s Top 2% Scientist (Stanford University: Elsevier Data Repository, August, 2025)
