Dr Kittipat Charoenkwan (Thailand)

Chiang Mai University

Kittipat Charoenkwan, MD, MSc, serves as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University. He earned his Doctor of Medicine with First Class Honors from Chiang Mai University, followed by a gynecologic oncology clinical fellowship at the University of Toronto and an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

His research interests focus on gynecologic oncology, advanced gynecologic surgery, enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS), evidence-based surgical interventions, and prediction modeling in OB-GYN.

Internationally, he is a Council Member and Co-Chair of the Education Committee for the Asian Society of Gynecologic Oncology and the Principal Editor of the Journal of Gynecologic Oncology. He received the AOFOG Young Gynaecologist Award in 2007 and the Medical Council of Thailand’s Award for Outstanding Ethical Medical Teacher in 2022.
