Dr Sangam Jha (India)

Dr. Sangam Jha is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna, Bihar, India. She completed her MBBS from Guwahati Medical College and her MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Patna Medical College. With more than a decade of extensive experience in academic obstetrics and gynecology, she has established herself as an accomplished clinician, educator, and researcher.
She has extensive experience in high-risk obstetrics, feto-maternal medicine, with special expertise in advanced obstetric ultrasound, Doppler studies, fetal therapy and advanced gynecological endoscopy.
Dr. Jha has authored more than 100 scientific publications in national and international journals and holds four granted patents, reflecting her active engagement in academic research and innovation in women’s health. She has presented her research at several prestigious national and global conferences, including meetings of the FIGO and AICCRCOG. She also serves as a National Master Trainer for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) and the Safe OR Program, actively contributing to capacity building in maternal healthcare across India. She is the recipient of the Dr. Nirmala Saxena Award
