Professor Nur Azurah Abdul Ghani (Malaysia)

Prof Dr Nur Azurah graduated from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1997
and obtained Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2004. She then
pursued her fellowship in Paediatrics Adolescents Gynaecology(PAG) in Royal
Children Hospital, Melbourne Australia. At the same time, she completed
her doctorate in medicine in University of Melbourne in 2010. Set up the first PAG
service in Malaysia together with her colleague Prof Dr Ani Amelia.
Also, an international fellow IFEPAG and one of the executive board members of FIGIJ. Area of interest are in management of menstrual disorders in adolescents
which in PCOS, Mullerian anomalies and dealing with girls with intellectual
disabilities. Her research area is in oestrobolome, microbiota, probiotics and stem cell culture. Currently, she is the Head of PAG unit in Children’s Specialist Hospital and Director for Clinical Research Centre in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
