Prof. Dr. Musarrat Sultana is a gynecologist and obstetrician with over 25 years of experience in women’s health. She is currently the Vice Principal and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dhaka Medical College and serves as Member Secretary of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Bangladesh (OGSB). She completed her MBBS from Dhaka Medical College and obtained her FCPS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is a philanthropic fistula surgeon and is widely recognized for her dedicated work for marginalized women across Bangladesh. Her clinical expertise includes female fistula surgery, urogynecology, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, pelvic floor disorders, and high risk pregnancy care. She has received advanced training in urogynecology and fetal medicine from Germany and is a FIGO fellow in female fistula surgery.
