Dr Adele Murdolo (Australia)

Multicultural Centre for Women's Health

Adele is the Chief Executive Officer of Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health, a national women’s health centre run by and for migrant and refugee women and gender diverse people.
Adele has a PhD in History and Women’s Studies and extensive specialist expertise in taking an intersectional feminist approach to gender equity, health and violence against women in multicultural communities.
She is a passionate advocate for health equity and justice, providing evidence-based advice to government and other key stakeholders. Adele is a member of numerous national, state and ministerial committees, including the Victorian Women’s Health Advisory Council and the National Multicultural Health Advisory Committee, among others. Adele’s research, advocacy and policy output, and leadership of MCWH for more than two decades, has made a significant contribution to improving migrant and refugee women’s health outcomes in Australia.
