Your invitation to

AOFOG 2026

It is with great pleasure and anticipation that we warmly invite you all to the Asia Oceanic Congress 2026, hosted in the vibrant city of Warrane (Sydney) Australia. In October 2026, we will gather on the lands of the Traditional Lands of the Gadigal Peoples of the Eora Nation to embark on a journey of learning, collaboration, and exploration in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.

As a speciality, we stand on the edge of a new era of Women’s Health, with advances in technology, science and innovation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology changing quicker than ever. In 2026, we are looking to the forefront of women’s health, how we as healthcare professionals can revolutionise our practice, our approach to healthcare and embracing the innovations we have made.

We have chosen the theme of “Equivolution: Equity and Sustainability in Women’s Health”. We will be exploring this theme deeply throughout the program. Focused not just on sustainability in the environment, which poses a real and present threat to many of our neighbours in the Pacific, we also will explore how we can ensure sustainability in our workforce and communities as we evolve our practice. We are exploring equity in education, leadership and how we can ensure the women, girls and people accessing Obstetrics and Gynaecology services we care for are treated equitably, not just when they seek healthcare but also in their broader lives. We aspire to make tangible strides towards a future where every woman and girl receives the care and support they deserve.

The programme has been designed to cater for a range of interests and to provoke robust and lively discussion. Through collaboration and shared insights, we aim to foster discussions and initiatives that promote access to equitable healthcare for women of all backgrounds and ensure the sustainability of healthcare systems worldwide. As leaders in the Asia Pacific, and the world, you will hear from experts in our field, and we are looking forward to sharing our learnings with you, and learning from our neighbours throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Moreover, this Congress serves as a platform to showcase the beauty and diversity of Australia. we encourage you to take the time in 2026 to attend the Congress, and also take time to unwind: you may know Australia for its beaches and sand, though it is also home to breathtaking old growth rainforests, deserts, unique wildlife and other untold wonders. It’s a vast nation in which you can explore nature, amazing food and culture, whilst also being home to the oldest continuing culture in the world. We encourage you to immerse yourselves in our remarkable country, making memories that will last a lifetime.

As we embark on this collective journey, we extend our warmest welcome to each and every one of you. May this congress be a source of inspiration, knowledge, meaningful connections and new friendships. We hope it will have a lasting impact on our professional endeavours and the health of women around the globe.
